Early in his career, Dr. Horas specialized in hip and knee arthroplasty. Most recently, he served as a senior physician in the "Reconstructive Joint Surgery" department and as a senior lead surgeon at the Würzburg Endoprosthetics Center, a maximum-care facility at the Orthopedic Clinic König-Ludwig-Haus, University of Würzburg. His clinical work primarily focused on minimally invasive primary hip and knee replacement surgeries, complex revision surgeries, and innovative implantation techniques, including robot-assisted endoprosthetic surgery. Additionally, Dr. Horas has extensive experience as an osteologist. He worked at the Osteological Center of Excellence (DVO) at the University of Würzburg's König-Ludwig-Haus, where he focused on treating patients with osteoporosis and other bone-metabolism disorders.
