Dr. med. Katrin Diener

Dr. Katrin Diener is a specialist in orthopedics with a focus on foot and ankle surgery. She also holds a subspecialty certification in rheumatology, demonstrating her expertise in this field. Dr. Diener completed her residency at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Friedrich Schiller University in Eisenberg, where she spent a total of 13 years under the professional supervision of Dr. Renée Andrea Fuhrmann. During this time, she gained extensive knowledge and experience in both hand and foot surgery and rheumatological surgery. During her residency, she completed a clinical observership with Professor Dr. Jörg van Schoonhoven at the Clinic for Hand Surgery at the Rhön-Klinikum Campus in Bad Neustadt. This experience allowed her to gain valuable insights while working with an internationally renowned expert. Additionally, she successfully obtained a travel grant to study with Professor Dr. Giacomo Pisani in Turin, Italy, where she further enhanced her knowledge of foot and ankle disorders.
