About the offer

Dendritic cell vaccination has been developed as a unique anti-cancer method. Dendritic cells are derived from the patient's own immune cells, which can be easily obtained from 300ml of peripheral blood. Blood can be drawn for our on-site specialized laboratory or shipped there if the regulations of the patient's country allow it. The portion of white blood cells obtained from blood is cultured in a specialized, EU-certified laboratory to generate dendritic cells (professional immune cells capable of inducing strong anti-cancer responses) loaded with universal tumor-associated antigens. Thus, DCV can stimulate the immune system to kill tumor cells specifically. DCV can be ready within 4 weeks, and typically, 4-6 doses are prepared and can be shipped to the patient. DCV must be stored at a deep freezer temperature until used. DCV is applied as a subcutaneous injection.

FAQ

What is dendritic cell vaccination (DCV)?

DCV is a personalized immunotherapy approach that aims to stimulate the patient’s immune system using dendritic cells—key “messenger” cells that help activate targeted immune responses.

Is DCV a standard treatment?

DCV is generally considered an individualized immunotherapy approach that may be offered as an adjunct option depending on the clinical context and local regulatory/medical practice.

Do I need to travel to Brno for every dose?

In many programs, doses are administered on-site. Sometimes we offer the DC vaccine shipment to your address so you can receive the administration there.

Can DCV be combined with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or targeted therapy?

DCV is often considered alongside other treatments, but its compatibility depends on timing, immune status, and the overall treatment plan.

Can DCV be combined with checkpoint inhibitors (e.g., PD-1/PD-L1 therapy)?

In some protocols, combinations may be considered, but decisions depend on your oncologist’s plan, prior exposure, and risk/benefit assessment.

Do I need to stop my current treatment to receive DCV?

Not necessarily. The clinic will advise based on interactions, safety, and whether certain drugs could reduce immune response.

Do I need a referral?

Often not required, but sharing your oncologist's documentation helps the clinic evaluate your case more quickly.

Are there conditions that may prevent DCV treatment?

Possible constraints can include severe infection, unstable clinical status, certain immune disorders, or lab results that make treatment unsafe. The final decision is medical.

How do I get started?

Send your medical records for review. After assessment, the clinic will propose eligibility, a preliminary plan, an expected timeline, and a cost breakdown.
