Thyroid cancer treatment with radiotherapy

Thyroid cancer is treated on an outpatient basis, five days a week. Before starting the process, the doctor puts the patient under the device according to the treatment scheme. A special fixing mask is used to help the patient maintain immobility of the head and neck. It does not obstruct breathing and vision. The mask is made individually for each patient. The procedure is painless and lasts only a few minutes. The physician controls the irradiation process remotely.
