Thread facelift

A thread facelift is a highly effective and safe rejuvenating procedure. Not being a surgery, it improves the face contours, returns the volume to the cheekbones, and creates a clear chin line. The skin is based on proteins – collagen and elastin. With their lack, wrinkles and other age-related changes appear. Doctors artificially create a situation in which the body is forced to increase collagen production. Many tiny threads up to 15 or even 30 are injected under the patient's skin. Their length is chosen by the plastic surgeon depending on the skin features. The body tries to isolate any foreign substance. Therefore, a dense collagen shell is formed around the threads. As a result, the skin thickens, forming much fewer wrinkles. After collagen production, the threads are no longer needed, so they dissolve within 12-24 months. Before the procedure, the patient consults with a cosmetic doctor to determine the type and number of threads and make a map of the facelift. A special analgesic cream is applied to the face. Each thread is inserted with a needle, then the needle is removed, and the thread remains in the tissues. The procedure duration depends on the thread's number and lasts, on average, 30-60 minutes. After a month, the skin will slowly tighten and thicken. The threads have been working for about two years. The procedure can be done any number of times.
