Dr. med. Frauke Schallner

Dr. Frauke Schallner is an orthopedic specialist with additional qualifications in sports medicine and orthopedic rheumatology, as well as a DAF certificate for foot surgery. She is also a qualified physiotherapist. After completing her training as a physiotherapist, Dr. Schallner studied medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster and at Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main. During her specialist training at the University of Münster, she was trained by Prof. Dr. Winkelmann in general orthopedics, tumor orthopedics, and endoprosthetics. After relocating to Munich, she continued her training in all areas of orthopedics at Orthopedic Surgery Munich (OCM) in Sendling, where she specialized under Dr. Bracker in hand and foot surgery, as well as rheumatology. Following her advanced training in orthopedic rheumatology, she moved to Augsburg in 2012 to work with Chief Physician Dr. Rozee at the Hessing Clinic, where she established a hand surgery department as a senior physician. With her background in sports medicine and training as a physiotherapist, Dr. Schallner has extensive knowledge in conservative therapy, rehabilitative medicine, and the treatment of sports injuries. Since December 2017, she has been a part of the ECOM team, focusing on the treatment of hand and foot conditions, orthopedic rheumatology, and the conservative therapy of musculoskeletal disorders. As a former competitive athlete, Dr. Schallner remains active in running, skiing, and yoga.
