Prof. Dr. med. Frank Martetschläger

Professor Dr. Frank Martetschläger is a partner at the German Shoulder Center of the ATOS Clinic in Munich and has dedicated over 10 years to patient care. He is recognized as one of the leading specialists in shoulder and elbow surgery, both nationally and internationally, offering a complete range of modern surgical techniques. During his specialized training, Dr. Martetschläger spent a year at the esteemed Steadman-Hawkins Clinic (The Steadman Clinic) in Vail, CO, USA, where he worked alongside shoulder specialist Dr. Peter Millett and conducted research in shoulder surgery. Currently, Professor Dr. Martetschläger serves as President of the European Shoulder Society (ESA) within the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), one of the largest organizations in orthopedics and sports traumatology.
