Dr. med. Christoph Buchhold

After obtaining my board certification in surgery, I specialized in trauma surgery and later in orthopedics, focusing on trauma surgery with a subspecialty in special trauma surgery. Throughout my career, I developed a deep passion for hip and knee replacement surgery, particularly through minimally invasive techniques. This passion led me to specialize in the AMIS technique for hip replacements. While joint replacement surgery constitutes a significant part of my practice, I also prioritize maintaining and improving joint function through non-surgical methods. My training in manual medicine and sports medicine has been invaluable in achieving this goal.
