Univ. Prof. Dr. med. Ulf Landmesser is one of Europe’s most influential cardiologists, currently serving as the Medical Director of the Charité Center for Cardiovascular Diseases and the Deputy Medical Director of the German Heart Center at Charité. His clinical leadership is characterized by a precision medicine approach to cardiology, integrating state-of-the-art interventional techniques with advanced cardiac imaging. He is a pioneer in the use of high-resolution laser-light coronary plaque imaging (Optical Coherence Tomography) to guide complex catheter-based interventions.
