Prof. MUDr. Jiri Vorlicek

Prof. MUDr. Jiri Vorlicek is a highly experienced doctor with 54 years of practice in internal medicine and oncology, specializing in palliative medicine. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Head of the Department of hemato-oncology at University Hospital Brno, a visiting professor at international institutions, and the Masaryk Institute Center of Oncology director. Prof. Vorlicek's expertise in the field is evidenced by his 186 scientific publications, including research on the treatment and prognosis of various cancers. He has received recognition for his contributions to the field, such as being awarded a medal in the field of science by the President of the Republic. Additionally, he served as the Dean of Masaryk University and is currently the chairman of the Czech Oncological Society.
