Prof. Dr. med. dent. Theodosia Bartzela

Prof. Dr. med. dent. Theodosia Bartzela is an esteemed orthodontist with an impressive career spanning 34 years. She obtained her dentistry degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and later pursued postgraduate studies in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bartzela further expanded her expertise by studying public health at Harvard University and obtaining a license for medical practice. She specialized in orthodontics, completed her specialist training at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, and obtained a specialization in orthodontics in 2003. Throughout her career, Dr. Bartzela has held various positions of responsibility, including senior lecturer and senior physician at prestigious institutions such as the University of Basel and Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre. She has also made significant contributions to the field through her research, with 69 scientific publications. Dr. Bartzela's extensive experience, diverse education, and exceptional research make her a highly respected and skilled orthodontist. She currently leads the Department of Orthodontics at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden in Germany, where she continues to provide excellent patient care and contribute to advancing orthodontic treatment.
