Prof. Dr. med. Johanna Anneser

Prof. Dr. med. Johanna Anneser brings together expertise in palliative medicine with a broader clinical understanding of neurological and psychosomatic conditions. At TUM Clinic Rechts der Isar in Munich, she leads the functional unit of palliative medicine within the clinic and polyclinic for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. Her work focuses on patients facing serious, life-limiting illnesses, for whom medical care must address not only the disease itself but also the physical and emotional difficulties that accompany it. A central part of her approach is carefully managing pain and other distressing symptoms, including breathlessness, nausea, and confusion.
