Dr. Ivan Udvarhelyi

Dr. Ivan Udvarhelyi is an experienced orthopedic and traumatology specialist with over 35 years of practice. He studied human medicine at Semmelweis University of Medicine and obtained a license for medical practice in 1989. Dr. Udvarhelyi has continuously expanded his knowledge and skills throughout his career through various educational opportunities and specialization programs. He has received additional traumatology qualifications and a specialization in orthopedics. Dr. Udvarhelyi has worked as a consultant in multiple hospitals, including the Pest County Flor Ferenc Hospital, Paszto Margit Hospital, Uzsoki Street Hospital, Duna Medical Center Budapest, and currently at the Buda Health Center. Additionally, he is a member of several prestigious medical societies and associations, such as the Hungarian Orthopedic Society, the Hungarian Society of Traumatologists, the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and the Hungarian Arthroscopic Society. With a keen interest in research and innovation, Dr. Udvarhelyi has published 47 scientific articles focusing on surgical solutions for femoral fibrosarcoma, treatment of articular cartilage defects, and different knee arthroplasties. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition, including a special award from the Hungarian Orthopedic Society in 2017 and his current role as the society president in 2022.
