Bankart shoulder repair is a surgical intervention primarily utilized to treat Bankart lesion, a tear in the labrum of the shoulder joint. This procedure aims to restore stability to the shoulder joint and reduce the likelihood of recurrent dislocations or instability episodes.  During Bankart's shoulder repair, the patient is under general anesthesia. Our surgeon typically employs arthroscopic techniques involving small incisions and specialized instruments to access the shoulder joint. This minimally invasive approach offers several advantages, including reduced post-operative pain, faster recovery times, and better cosmetic outcomes than traditional open surgery. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are risks and potential complications, including infection, stiffness, and recurrence of instability.
