About the offer

Neuro endoscopy surgery removes brain metastases using an endoscope (a multifunctional tube shape device with a video camera). The operation is indicated, as a rule, in the presence of single and small metastases. The technique allows the neurosurgeon to reach those areas of the brain that are usually inaccessible with traditional surgery. At the same time, the method is far more advanced than open brain surgery. That reduces complications and helps to recover faster. Endoscopy brain surgery does not require skull openings and large incisions. Instead, access to the brain is carried out through a small hole, into which the neurosurgeon inserts surgical tools. Usually, the width of the endoscope is at most 0. 5 cm. In addition, some operations are performed with access through the nose. This approach allows access to metastases located deep in the brain. The neurosurgeon operates under the MRI control and sees all the vessels and nerves on the monitor image, so the risk of injury to healthy tissues is minimal. A small incision reduces the likelihood of postoperative complications and promotes rapid recovery after surgery. To date, the postoperative stay in the hospital usually does not exceed 48 hours.
