Multiple sclerosis treatment with stem cell therapy

Using the patient's stem cells, known as cell therapy, is a new and effective method to slow down the progression of multiple sclerosis and restore damaged neuron areas. MS is an autoimmune disease, meaning the patient's immune system attacks its cells. In certain situations, the immune system attacks myelin, an important substance found in nerve fibers and the cells that produce it. Then they are injected into the body with a special needle. Once they enter the bloodstream, they take root in the body's autoimmune system, which initiates the recovery process. Depending on the condition of the immune system, doctors may prescribe antibacterial, antifungal, or antiviral medications. Additionally, drugs made from natural human immunoglobulin can be used to stimulate the immune system.
