The route of drug administration can be either oral, intravenous, or subcutaneous — it depends on the chosen scheme and medications. The choice of medicine, the treatment frequency, and the duration depend on the type and stage of vulvar cancer and the reaction of the patient's body. In many cases, targeted therapy is carried out in cycles. First, the patient is injected with drugs, then given time to rest, and then injected again. Over time, new mutations appear in cancer cells that ensure their "immortality," and uncontrolled reproduction begins to work. Therefore, the doctor periodically prescribes control examinations and, if necessary, adjusts the therapy regimen.
