About the offer

Decompression releases the nerve from the tissues, compressing it and restoring its functions. Usually, compression is caused by bone calluses, scars, or adhesions from connective tissue. During the operation, the neurosurgeon entirely or partially removes the compressing tissues. It helps to restore the sensitivity and function of tissues affected by nerve compression. The operation is performed under general anesthesia. A high-magnification microscope guarantees the accuracy of the surgeon's movements. Procedure steps:First, the neurosurgeon treats the surgical field with an antiseptic solution and performs anatomical marking. Then, he makes an incision to access the nerve. Using microsurgical instruments, the surgeon separates the nerve from adjacent tissues. Next, he removes compression-causing bone calluses, connective tissue adhesions, or scars surrounding the nerve. A bed between the muscles is created from the surrounding tissues for the released nerve, into which the nerve fits. This bed is necessary to avoid further scarring, deformations of the nerve and its compression. The surgical wound is sewn up in the last stage, and a sterile bandage is applied. In most cases, an operation is immediately effective - pain disappears, and sensitivity is restored. However, following the doctor's instructions during rehabilitation is necessary.
