Facial implants

Facial implants restore the face youth and make facial features more expressive and clear. After that, the plastic surgeon will simulate the shape of an individual implant in a computer program. The installation of implants involves the use of general anesthesia. Initially, the surgeon performs incisions inside the oral cavity. This approach avoids the formation of scars on the skin. If the implants are installed in the chin, the incision line runs between the lower lip and the gum fold. As a result, an incision less often obtains surgical access under the chin line. After the necessary incisions have been made, the so-called pocket is formed. It is in it that the implant is installed. Finally, stitches are applied using self-dissolving threads. On average, the procedure duration is at most 1 hour.
