About the offer

During the imaging study, the doctor may detect an aneurysm that has not yet started or stopped bleeding. Such formations can be the cause of stroke. In such cases, neurosurgery can be used to restore certain disorders of blood vessels and to avoid new hemorrhages associated with hemorrhagic stroke. First, a neurosurgeon makes a hole in the skull. Most often, it is a zone of the temporoparietal region. Through this hole, he isolates the artery on which the aneurysm has formed and squeezes the neck of the aneurysm with a tiny titanium clip. As a result, the aneurysm "turns off" the general blood flow. The clip stays in place permanently. At the end of the operation, the surgeon closes the trepanation hole and sutures the soft tissues of the head. A cosmetic absorbable seam is applied to the skin. It prevents the development of scars and extensive areas of baldness. An aseptic dressing is used, and the patient is taken out of anesthesia and transferred to the intensive care unit. After stabilization of physiological parameters, a control CT angiography is performed to assess cerebral blood flow. If the data obtained does not alarm the attending physician in any way, the patient is prepared for discharge.
