About the department

The department of neurology at MEOCLINIC Berlin offers clinically tested therapies in neurology that are recommended in the current guidelines - all based on extensive and varied clinical and practical experience. In addition to clinical experience in general and acute neurology and neurological rehabilitation, the head of the department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and sleep disorders. Reliable and state-of-the-art equipment is available in the department. Neurologists have access to the entire spectrum of diagnostic options for diagnosing and treating neurological diseases, including colour duplex sonography, electroencephalography, measurement of nerve conduction velocities, electromyography, and evoked potentials and imaging (CT, MRT). In addition, an interdisciplinary sleep laboratory is available for detailed sleep analysis. 

The spectrum of medical services available covers the entire list of neurological diseases. All types of sleep disorders can be comprehensively clarified in the department. Functional disorders of the nervous system can be triggered by stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia, epilepsy, or inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Benign or malignant tumours, mechanical entrapment, injuries, and congenital or hereditary conditions can also cause.
