About the department

The department of otolaryngology, head and neck surgery ​​at Helios Hospital Berlin-Buch is one of the most modern in Germany regarding medical technology. Experienced doctors and anesthesiologists ensure safe treatment. Maximum care hospital allows patients to benefit from short distances and interdisciplinary cooperation. In 16 rooms at the ENT ward, 2,800 patients are treated annually. The Helios Hörzentrum Berlin-Brandenburg is part of the department. ENT doctors, hearing aid acousticians, hearing specialists (audiologists), rehabilitation educators, and the pediatric social centre of the hospital work in close cooperation. The department is equipped with the latest endoscopic devices to perform minimally invasive surgeries.

The team offers a large number of conservative (i.e. non-surgical) and surgical treatment methods at their disposal based on the current state of the science. From newborns to the elderly, hearing-impaired patients will find competent advice and help under one roof. Minimally-invasive and laser surgery, cancer treatment, pediatric ENT, plastic-reconstructive and aesthetic procedures are all available at the department.
