sports medicine, orthopedics, and trauma surgery

About the department

The department of sports medicine at Beta Clinic Bonn offers a world-class interdisciplinary approach to medical care for professional and amateur athletes. Many doctors come from competitive sports and are still active in sports. The close collegial cooperation, short distances between facilities, and state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapy enable comprehensive sports medicine care. The services are provided according to the German Society for Sports Medicine and Prevention (DGSP). The main pillars of medical care at the department are individual neuromuscular diagnostics and training with "HUBER® 360" mobility and strength training and other cutting-edge technologies in sports medicine, the Five-concept training, based on biokinematics, and medical rehabilitation. Some of the technologies (SkillCourt) are the first to be introduced in Germany at the department.

The trainers, doctors, and physiotherapists treat complaints of the musculoskeletal system after operations and serious illnesses and sports injuries. The priority is given to sports injury prevention, return-to-sports counselling, and sports medicine advice and coaching. Conservative, surgical, and interventional treatment is also provided.
