Academic Hospital Schwabing Munich is the oldest and most traditional Munich medical facility. The clinic was opened in 1909 as a tertiary care facility. The medical center includes 17 clinics, one institute, five intensive care units, 11 operating rooms, and two operating rooms for victims of radiation accidents.
