About the department

The department of obstetrics, gynaecology and gynaecological oncology at Wolfgarten Clinic Bonn provides advanced care for female health. The services are delivered based on well-founded specialist knowledge with personal attention and the latest technologies in all areas of gynaecology. The department is a certified breast cancer centre, working following the latest guidelines (the STIKO recommendations, maternity guidelines, and CME-certified professional training for other doctors). Latest technologies are implemented in the department, including MonaLisa Touch®, laser therapy, and tomosynthesis (3D mammography). The department's doctors are world-class professionals with many years of experience and a modern, holistic approach to treatment. Along with the traditional system, the holistic methods are mirrored in the community of support, formed at the department, and further developed with additional attention to each patient in individual and group therapies.

The department is characterized in particular by the high level of expertise in treating women with breast cancer or cancer of the female pelvic organs. Both surgical and conservative therapy is performed. Complementary programs supplement these services. The focus of the programs is on non-medical care, for example, particular sports and nutrition advice and psychological support.
