Dr. Uri Katz

Dr. Uri Katz is an experienced pediatric cardiologist with 26 years of experience. He obtained his medical license and specialized in pediatrics, with additional qualifications in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Katz completed fellowships at renowned medical centers in New York, including the Cohen Children's Medical Center and the Long Island Jewish Hospital. He also holds a Master's in health systems management from Bar Ilan University. Dr. Katz has held various positions in prestigious medical institutions throughout his career. He was a Pediatric Cardiologist at the E. Wolfson Medical Center and Maccabi Health Services. From 2008 to 2019, he was the Director of the pediatric cardiology clinic at the SHEBA Medical Center in Ramat Gan, Israel. In 2019, he became the Director of the Department of pediatric cardiology, and in 2023, he was appointed Chief of the Department. Dr. Katz's accomplishments extend beyond his clinical work. He is the Chairman of the Israeli Association of Pediatric Cardiology and a Clinical Instructor at Tel Aviv University.
