Department of urology

Dr. med. Nathan Kaminski
urology, oncourology, andrology

About the department

The department of urology at Urology Clinic Wiener Platz & Grunwald Munich offers modern, safe, and adequate medical care for urinary tract diseases. The team cooperates and follows the guidelines of different medical associations, such as Umbrella association of prostate centres, TZM Tumor Center Munich, German Society for Biofeedback, and CCC Munich Comprehensive Cancer Center. The head of the department has extensive experience in andrology and urology – over 35 years. The equipment at the facilities is according to the latest scientific findings, such as the MRI fusion biopsy of the prostate. This technique allows for the highest prostate cancer detection rate, accessing hard-to-reach regions of the prostate, and more precise reach to reduce the number of tissue samples needed for a biopsy. The in-house laboratory covers the needs in general clinical investigations and the latest genetic, histological, or biomarker testing,

The department offers check-ups, outpatient advice, outpatient and inpatient surgery, andrological advice, sex psychology, and psycho-oncological counselling. Diseases of the genitourinary system in children and adults are the priority. Among surgical interventions, modern minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques are utilized. In addition, various non-surgical manipulations are also available, such as hormonal therapy, radiotherapy for cancer, and biofeedback to treat incontinence.
