About the department

The departments of obstetrics and gynaecology at Johanna Etienne Hospital Neuss offer a full range of diagnostics and treatment for patients with diseases of the reproductive system and provide obstetric care. The modern delivery rooms of the department cover the entire range of services of a highly specialised clinic. A woman in labour receives optimal health care and safety at every stage of pregnancy, during and after childbirth. The goal of obstetricians is to give the child the best start in life. Doctors work following the latest medical standards and a holistic concept. Patients have at their disposal a team of 20 doctors, 24 midwives, paediatricians and nurses who work day and night. The medical team regularly attends training courses to provide the most up-to-date knowledge of standards and alternative treatments.

In addition to obstetrics, doctors specialise in gynaecology, especially in endoscopic surgery for endometriosis. The department has state-of-art equipment for accurate diagnostics, such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound. In the case of surgical interventions on the genital organs, all standard operations are offered, which, if possible, are also performed endoscopically.
