Department of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery

Prof. Dr. med. Peter M. Vogt
plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery

About the department

The department of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the International Neuroscience Institute Hanover (INI) provides a full range of modern procedures and services in aesthetic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The qualified team of surgeons specialises in operations to correct defects after trauma and resection of tumours, congenital malformations, and aesthetic interventions to improve the appearance without clinical indications for surgery. Modern operating rooms strictly comply with all hygiene and safety standards. Whenever possible, operations are performed using sparing surgical methods, which allows the patient to recover as quickly as possible after the intervention and return to everyday life. In addition, the department offers advanced computer programs that help model the predictive outcome of plastic surgery.

The department is mainly visited by patients who want to undergo breast augmentation surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty, nose or ear reshaping surgery and facelift. The main task is to provide the patient with an excellent aesthetic result and preserve the function of an organ or part of the body.
