Neurological examination

A neurological exam checks how the brain, spinal cord, and nerves work to find neurological diseases. It includes:Review of medical history and records,Mental status evaluation: checking the patient's level of consciousness, ability to pay attention, remember things, and use language. Cranial nerve exam: checking the function of the 12 nerves in the head that control sight, hearing, taste, smell, and facial movement.
