Department of hips, knee, foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery

Dr. med. Georg Benes
hips, knee, foot, and ankle orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, chirotherapy, osteopathy

About the department

The department of hips, knee, foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery at ATOS Orthopedic Clinic Frankfurt am Main is a premium medical care centre for treating the musculoskeletal system of lower extremities. The approach chosen by local physicians is only treating the patient surgically if there is no improvement through conservative methods. Modern conventional therapy methods, e.g. injection treatment, autologous blood therapy with stem cells, or shock wave therapy, often avoid a necessary operation or delay it. Combining the latest technology and experienced surgeons is the basis for optimal treatment results. Local experts have many years of experience using the latest surgical methods to restore joint function optimally.

The multidimensional approach at the department offers a rich array of treatment choices: conservative, supplementary treatment, and surgery. Here it can be determined individually by the patient whether a partial joint replacement (sledge prosthesis), a total prosthesis, or an individual prosthesis promises the best treatment results.
